CASE VICTORY: Expertise points stab wounds and genetic material in Maicol’s car

The police inquiry into the case involving the young 17 -year -old victory Regina, who died after disappearing in late February, is close to being finalized.

In a press conference on Wednesday (16), the São Paulo Civil Police said that The expertise pointed out three wounds per knife, as well as genetic material of the victim in Maicol’s car.

In a statement in late March, Maicol stated that Victoria grabbed him by the neck after a discussion, causing her scratches.

The confessed killer said he called the victim to talk to his car, and that she accepted and entered.

According to Maicol, Vitória died shortly after the second blow.

The disappearance and tragic death of Vitória Regina de Sousa, a 17 -year -old girl moved the residents of Cajamar (SP). The story began on February 26, when the girl, after a day at work at a local mall, took the bus back home.

Stalking suspicion changed course of investigations

That night Victoria shared text messages with a friend, expressing the fear she felt when she realized she was being followed by two men. Witnesses reported seeing a car with four men following the young woman after she got out of the bus.

After its disappearance, the city came together in incessant searches. Police and family members, supported by various agents, sniffer dogs and drones, sought by victory every corner of the region.

Anguish came to an end on March 5, when the Vitória’s body was found in a forest area in Cajamar . The young woman’s body was in advanced state of decomposition and showed signs of violence. The young woman had her head shaved and without her clothes.
