After seven days of search, 17-year-old Vitória Regina de Sousa was found dead in a forest area last Wednesday (5) in Cajamar, Greater São Paulo. The young woman had disappeared a week ago when she turned from work.
Early yesterday afternoon, the São Paulo Civil Police team that investigates the case conducted a press conference where it gave initial details of the investigation work. The main suspicion at this time is that Vitória was killed by revenge.
There is even the suspicion of involvement of a criminal faction in the murder of the young woman, because of the cruelty used to kill Vitória.
However, even with the initial notes, the police are still looking for points to clarify the death of the young woman.
Participation of suspects
The investigation pointed out, on Thursday (6), the existence of 7 suspects who may be involved in the crime. They all knew each other, according to the police. According to information released by the collective investigation team this afternoon, The suspects are as follows:
- Gustavo Vinicius, ex-boyfriend of Vitória
- A man named Maycon, owner of a Toytota Corolla who lent the vehicle to Gustavo Vinicius, ex-boyfriend of Vitória
- Two men who followed Vitória when she left the mall and went to a bus stop
- Two men who enter the bus behind Vitória
- The driver who was at Toytota Corolla with Gustavo, ex-boyfriend of Vitória
The police now want find out what kind of participation Each of them had in the disappearance and death of victory.
Involvement of the ex-boyfriend
Among the seven suspects pointed out by police is Vitória’s ex-boyfriend, Gustavo Vinicius. He arrived at the Cajamar police station on Thursday afternoon (6), but was released after the court denying a temporary arrest request made by the investigation team.
According to police, the 26 -year -old dated 4 months victory. The couple had separated less than a month ago. The family, according to police information, was against the relationship.
Gustavo’s suspicious investigation is close to the scene of Vitória’s disappearance.
