Finland decided to reopen the restaurants from next week, after a steady decrease in cases coronavirus in the last month.
However, restrictions on their opening hours, the sale of alcohol and the number of customers will continue to apply, as the government has pointed out.
In the area around the capital Helsinki and in some others where the covid-19 epidemic is still spreading restaurants will be allowed to fill to 50% of their capacity, to sell alcohol until 17:00 and close at 19:00, as broadcast by AMPE.
Also today the government decided to give more vaccines against it covid-19 in areas where the disease is spreading faster, such as the capital.
According to the data of her health institute Φινλανδίας, 1.2 million Finns have received at least one dose of covid-19 vaccine.
Yesterday, the Minister of Health stated that the country wants to negotiate an agreement to buy the Russian vaccine Sputnik V.
Despite the high number of infections in March, Finland remains one of the countries least affected by the coronavirus pandemic. So far in the country of 5.5 million inhabitants, 83,253 cases and 558 deaths from covid-19 have been recorded.
