There are four days left. Christmas cashback closes on December 31st. First proof of what’s to come. In fact, the same program starts from January 1st, but with different numbers, it provides refunds with a minimum of 50 transactions in a semester. For the Christmas cashback, the minimum transactions to be made are instead 10 by the end of the year.
This is the first step: there are the last four days to get to 10 purchases paid with electronic systems (debit and credit cards) therefore traceable, you can get a refund of 10% of the amount spent. If the 10 transactions are not touched, no refunds will be received for those made. The maximum reimbursement for the entire duration of the Christmas cashback is 150 euros.
Are allowed electronic payments for any type of purchase, from shopping to bookstores, through appliances and clothes, restaurants and bars. A full tank of petrol is also valid, as long as it is not for work. The expenses made online are not worth it. Instead, payments to professionals are counted, the plumber as well as the lawyer.
The maximum cashback is set at 15 euro. If you spend 400 euros, the refund is not 40 euros, but 15 so it is better to make several different purchases within 150 euros. Going further does not get more. It is not possible to divide heavier expenses into multiple receipts.
Those who have not yet done so can join the program for which it is needed the IO app for payments to public administrations. To register you must have it Spid or the Electronic Identity Card. You can also register through the bank, post office or other entities that issue cards and payment apps. On the app, you can indicate the cards and ATMs you intend to use or you must activate the cashback on your Satispay account. It takes 24 hours to be active.
It must be inserted the Iban of the account to be credited which will arrive within 60 days, therefore by February 2021 for expenses made up to 31 December. The current account must be in the name of the person who registered on the IO App and therefore have the same reference tax code. The account can be jointly owned and repayments from multiple people can arrive on the same account.
It doesn’t work in December Apple Pay as an electronic payment method. Even if the system managed with the smartphone is directly connected to credit cards, it has not been activated for this first tranche of cashback, but will work as Google Pay from January.
