Cassie felt like a “sex professional” in Diddy’s “freak offs”

Prosecutor Emily Johnson asked Cassie Ventura on Friday about her testimony that Sean “Diddy” Combs would have harmed her musical career.

The singer recalled that “she couldn’t do many of the things she wanted” because of her participation in Freak Offs, organized by Combs. “I had a completely different job,” said Cassie. Johnson asked what this job was, and Ventura replied, “Basically, a sex professional.”

The judge granted the defense request to withdraw this response from the registration.

The jury also saw a 2012 text conversation between Ventura and someone involved in his management team about an opportunity.

“Does puff agree that you make a Common video?” Says the text, using a nickname to Combs and referring to the popular rapper Common. “I don’t know, he will probably say no, lol,” said Ventura.

She later confirmed that Combs had “said no to the video.”

Cassie Ventura signed a 10 album contract with the Comb record label, but only one album was released, as she witnessed earlier this week.
