The singer Cassie Ventura 38, witnessed that he bought a disposable cell phone to hide a new relationship from Sean “Diddy” Combs .
The veteran of the music industry introduced her to the rapper Kid Cudi Around 2011 so they can work on songs together. Ventura said he started dating Kid Cudi while on vacation with Combs.
She testified that she bought a disposable phone to communicate with Kid Cudi because she didn’t want Combs to find out about the relationship. “I thought it would be very dangerous to tell him about it,” he said.
Cassie Ventura said P. Diddy eventually discovered her relationship when she moved her cell phone during a Freak Off. She said she was still having Freak Offs with Combs while they were off because “it was a job.”
The singer also said that Combs invested against her when she found out, but did not make contact with her.
Throughout her testimony, the artist said that the rapper continued to threaten her after the end of the relationship. They were together for over a decade, between 2007 and 2018.
The veteran of the music industry has denied all allegations of irregularities and declared themselves innocent from federal accusations that include conspiracy of extortion, sexual trafficking and transportation for involvement in prostitution.
