Cast of “Tapas e Beijos” celebrates Fernanda Torres’ Golden Globe; check it out

The actors of “Slaps and Kisses” congratulated this Monday (6), the actress Fernanda Torres 59, star of the series, who won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Film for her role in “I’m Still Here.”

On social media, names like Marcelo Serrado, Malu Gatti and Eric Brás paid tribute to their former co-star. In the series, single friends Fátima (Fernanda Torres) and Sueli (Andrea Beltrão) try to find love while working in a wedding dress store.

The international award highlighted the series by describing Fernanda Torres’ career. “Torres became known for her work in comedy, acting in the popular Brazilian sitcom Tapas e Beijos”, said the phrase shown in the broadcast.

On the networks, colleagues who starred with the actress in the national comedy spoke out, congratulating the artist. Fernanda Torres won the Golden Globe for playing Eunice Paiva in the feature film by Walter Salles.

Actress Fernanda de Freitas played Flavinha, who worked with Fátima (Fernanda Torres) and Sueli (Andrea Beltrão) in the series. On the networks, she published a long speech to her former co-star.

“What the headline would be like if it were Fátima: ‘The rise of the saleswoman at Djalma Noivas to her greatest achievement and the celebration at La Conga nightclub, complete with confusion and arrests.’ Nanda, I made this video in your honor because ‘I’m still here’ very emotional. The interpreter of the character Jorge in the series, Fábio Assunção published a video in honor of Fernanda Torres, remembering moments with the actress during the recording of “Tapas e Beijos”.

“Nanda!!!! Historic!!! So many reasons to celebrate: Nanda, Brazil, art, dramaturgy, actress, women, cinema. Party, lots of party”, he wrote.

Eric Brás

The interpreter of the iconic Jurandir from “Tapas e Beijos”, Érico Brás also paid tribute to Fernanda Torres for her historic achievement. “Congratulations, Fernanda Torres. Long live Brazilian cinema. Long live Brazil”, he declared.

In “Tapas e Beijos”, actress Malu Galli played Márcia, Jorge’s (Fabio Assunção) ex-wife. She also shared more than one post in honor of her former colleague. On social media, Malu wrote a long statement, highlighting his admiration for Fernanda Torres.

“Fernanda Torres was a very strong reference for me, and it is now because of her beautiful work in this much-needed film (which has the strength and softness of Fernanda’s Eunice), not only because of the maturity she reaches as an actress, but as an artist, a Brazilian thinker ; for the clarity, intelligence and authenticity with which she expresses herself in this universe that is so new to her and that seems to have been part of her life for some time, such is the naturalness with which she walks through it”, she wrote.
