Therefore, we believe that providing a qualification for women to enter this market is the beginning of a necessary movement”, said Patricia Suzuki, CHRO at Catho.

The course will start on April 4, with a duration of 8 months. During this period, students will learn to program in practice with live and online classes.

“We are also going to hire 15 of these women who finish the course to not only train them, but also open the doors of the job market for them”, he added.

According to research carried out by Catho, women represent only 19% of technology professionals.

Felipe Paiva, CEO of Let’s Code, stated that the objective of the course is to train these professionals to promote female empowerment in the job market and change this scenario.
