Caution: for a discarded computer or TV from March 1 in Russia, you can get a fine

From March 1, new requirements for waste disposal come into force in Russia – it will no longer be possible to just throw a computer, accessories, TV, household appliances and the like into a trash can. This was reported by “Parliamentary newspaper” with reference to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology.

All such waste will need to be recycled. And for violators, a fine is provided – from 1 to 2 thousand rubles for individuals and from 100 to 200 thousand rubles for legal entities.

The requirements are becoming more stringent for six waste groups, not only for businesses, but also for ordinary people. We are talking about household appliances, computer system units, circuit boards, hard drives and other electronic waste.

It should be noted that according to the current regulations in Russia, it is forbidden to throw car tires, construction waste, saw cut trees and bushes, leaves, grass, chemicals, medical waste, light bulbs, batteries into garbage containers. Such waste must be handed over for processing to collection points – directly to waste operators or to shops.
