The Federal District Civil Police fulfills on the morning of Wednesday (30) 14 arrest warrants and 16 search warrants against members of a CCP faction cell (first command of the capital) that tries to settle in Brasilia.
The “Concordia Operation” wants to prevent the restructuring of the Brazilian cell and curb the performance of its members in crimes such as homicides, extortions, theft, drug trafficking and weapons practiced in various administrative regions of the Federal District.
The actions take place in regions of the DF and in two municipalities of Goiás.
The operation of the Organized Crime Suppression Division is the result of seized evidence analysis with members of the CCP, in another operation that investigated the direct involvement of factioned crimes of extortion and drug trafficking in the administrative region of Brazlândia, 38 kilometers from the Esplanade dos Ministries.
Data extracted from cell phones revealed that the investigated promoted, funded and integrated a structured criminal organization divided into tasks, with the objective of obtaining economic and immaterial advantages through various criminal offenses, including drug trafficking and extortion, points to PCDF.
“The investigation reports point out that the criminal organization, despite being unique, divides into several” cells “, each with its own autonomy and structure, with the purpose of boosting control over prison mass, monopoly on prisons and expansion of criminal activities inside and outside arrests,” says the Civil Police.
70 civil police officers and support from the State Secretariat of Penitentiary Administration and the Goiás State Civil Police (PCGO) are part of the operation.
