Starting this Thursday (1) the CCXP, or Comic Con Experience, starts in São Paulo with a varied program and the return of the great studios, panels, cosplayers in all the corridors – with the right to a parade -, the legends of comics and , of course, the Hollywood celebrities that the public loves to fuss over.
One of the most anticipated panels of the event takes place on the first day. Disney revs up its engines to celebrate its 100 years in 2023 and takes attractions from several of its productions to CCXP for a three-hour show on the Thunder stage.
Among the brand’s attractions are Paul Rudd 🇧🇷 Evangeline Lilly, Jhonatan Majors, from “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”, and Zoe Saldaña which will talk about the details of “Avatar: The Way of Water” 🇧🇷
Still on the first day, CCXP will pay homage to one of the most important films in Brazilian cinema. “City of God” turns 20 and its director, Fernando Meirelles, will receive the honoree of the year award. Alongside him on the panel, also on the Thunder stage, will be producers and actor and singer Seu Jorge, who plays Mané Galinha, one of the most charismatic characters in the film.
On the same day, Alexander Ludwig from the series “Vikings” and “Heels”, comes to Brazil for the first time and participates in a panel with a Viking theme.
The second day of the event, on Friday (2), CCXP will take to the Thunder stage Mauricio de Sousa to talk about news and upcoming releases from your production company.
For Saturday (3), the Thunder stage will be small for so many attractions. Netflix takes to its panel, among several stars, Park Hae-soo, from Round 6, Vivienne Acheampong, from “Sandman”, Gwendoline Christie, from the cast of “Wandinha” and one of the most anticipated of this year’s edition, Jenna Ortega , the interpreter of the character who gives her name to “Wandinha”.
On Saturday (3), the highlight goes to the cast of one of the most anticipated series for 2023. Pedro Pascal Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, Merle Dandridge will talk about “The Last of Us”, from HBO+ 🇧🇷
Another special Saturday attraction on the Thunder stage is the actor Keanu Reeves for an epic panel, which will participate in a panel about the fascinating universe of “John Wick”, which gains another chapter with the fourth film of the franchise.
On Sunday (4) nostalgia should take over CCXP with the presence of dear Mexican actor Edgar Vivar, the eternal Mr. Belly from the series “Chaves”. He kicks off his farewell tour at the event in Brazil.
Still on the last day of the event, a panel should warm the hearts of the geek public. Inspired by the classic RPG that originated, among other works, the Caverna do Dragão series, the live action “’Dungeons & Dragons: Honra Entre Rebeldes’”, will be debated by the stellar cast with names like Chris Pine, Regé-Jean Page, the British who became known after playing Duke Simon Basset in “Bridgerton”, Hugh Grant and Justice Smith.
