CCXP24: “Sonic”, “Dexter”, “Dune” and the main panels of the edition

Between the days December 5th and 8th the biggest names in global pop culture, with the main studios and players in the industry, will be gathered at CCXP24 . The event, held at Sao Paulo Expo promises unmissable attractions, prominent stars and exclusive previews of major cinema, streaming, comics and television releases.

This year, the main players bringing attractions to the event include Crunchyroll , Warner Bros. Discovery , Prime Video , Apple TV+ , Paris Films and Lionsgate , Conspiracy and H2O Productions , Gullane and Paramount Pictures .

Crunchyroll

The anime platform brings several activations and big names to this year’s convention, such as:

• On CCXP24’s Thunder Stage, the platform will present the new film in the trilogy “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinite Castle”, “Fire Force”, “Solo Leveling” and “Zenshu”. The event will take place on Thursday (5), at 7:45 pm .
• On the Ultra Stage, on Friday (6), at 7:30 pm Crunchyroll will bring the highly anticipated animes “Anyway”, “Honey Lemon Soda”, “I Am Falling in Love with You” and “Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms”.

Warner Bros. Discovery

The studio’s main release this year is “Dune: The Prophecy”. Also check out what else Casa do Patolino has prepared for the convention:

• On the Thunder Stage, starting at 6:30 pm this Saturday (7), the studio presents the lecture “Irmão do Jorel: 10 Anos e Além”;
• On Sunday (8), starting at 6pm, it will be the turn of the “Dune: The Prophecy” panel on the Thunder Stage. The event will be attended by the screenwriter Alison Shapker from the producer Jordan Goldberg and the actors Travis Fimmel and Jade Anouka ;
• Warner Bros also brings a label table Adult Swim focused on animations for an adult audience. The panel will be on Palco Ultra, on Sunday (8), at 4:45 pm.

Prime Video

This year, Prime Video’s main attractions are the cartoon “Invincível” and the series “Tremembé”.

• On the Thunder Stage, from 7:30 pm this Saturday (7), the actresses will be present Sandra Oh and Gillian Jacobs in addition to the co-showrunner of “Invincible”, Robert Kirkman ;
• As for “Tremembé”, they will participate Marina Ruy Barbosa , Bianca Comparato and Felipe Simas accompanied by the showrunner Ulisses Campbell .

Apple TV+

For the convention, the platform brings its main releases for 2025: the second season of “Ruptura” and the film “Entre Montanhas”

• On Saturday (7), at 3pm, the Thunder Stage will host Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy to present “Entre Montanhas”, the platform’s new film.
• Also at the event, the cast of “Ruptura” will also be present. Adam Scott , Britt Lower , Dan Erickson and Tramell Tillman will take the stage to offer an exclusive preview of the highly anticipated second season of the series.

Paris Films and Lionsgate

The “John Wick” spin-off, “Ballerina” is the studio’s big attraction:

• On Sunday (8), the Thunder Stage will host the long-awaited “Ballerina” panel, with no set time yet. The production promises to delight the Brazilian public with the presence of the cast starring Ana de Armas , Norman Reedus and Ian McShane in addition to the director Len Wiseman .

Conspiracy and H2O Productions

One of the biggest national releases of the year also has space at CCXP24, the long-awaited sequel “O Auto da Compadecida 2“:

• On Saturday (7), the Thunder Stage will host a special panel on “O Auto da Compadecida 2”, with the presence of the actors Matheus Nachtergaele and Selton Mello . The directors Guel Arraes and Flavia Lacerda will also participate in the conversation, bringing details about the long-awaited sequel;
• In addition, the public will have the exclusive opportunity to attend a preview of the film. The panel does not yet have a set time.

Gullane

The producer Gullane will be present at CCXP24 for the first time, celebrating its almost 30 years of history:

• The producers Caio and Fabiano Gullane will share behind-the-scenes stories from productions like “The Seven-Headed Beast “, which marked the beginning of the production company in the 1990s, and the expected miniseries “Senna “;
• The panel will also be attended by Laís Bodanzky director of “Como Nosso Pais” and “A Viagem de Pedro”, who will talk about her collaboration with Gullane in “O Bicho de Sete Cabeças”, in addition to the director Alois DiLeo (“Noah’s Ark”), by the actor and presenter Robson Nunes (“Assalto à Brasileira”) and actress Micheli Machado (“Quanto Mais Vida, Melhor”);
• The producer’s presentation will take place on Friday (6), starting at 2pm.

Paramount Pictures

Paramount’s latest news comes from the series “Yellowjackets ” and “Dexter: Original Sin “, and the film “Sonic 3”:

• Among the confirmed names for “Dexter: Original Sin” are: Patrick Gibson (“The OA”), Christian Slater (“Mr. Robot”), Patrick Dempsey (“Grey’s Anatomy”), Molly Brown (“Return to Love”) and Sarah Michelle Gellar (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer”);
• As for the cast of “Yellowjackets”, the confirmed names are Sophie Nelisse (“The Book Thief”), Jasmin Savoy Brown (“The Leftovers”), Sophie Thatcher (“MaXxXine”), Courtney Eaton (“Gods of Egypt”) and Kevin Alves (“Rua do Medo: 1994 – Part 1”);
• From “Sonic 3”, there will be actor James Marsden, who plays Tom Wachowski;
• The company’s presentations take place on the Thunder Stage, on Saturday (7).

When does CCXP24 take place and what are the opening hours?

THE CCXP24 will happen December 5th to 8th . The opening hours for each day are:

• Thursday (5): 12pm to 9pm;
• Friday (6): 12pm to 9pm;
• Saturday (7): 11am to 9pm;
• Sunday (8): 11am to 9pm.
