“Very good. I was a teenager at the time, and those free women who take their destiny in their hands had changed my point of view. Above all, he had eliminated some prejudices in this regard ».
Is the struggle for gender equality truly transforming the condition of women?
“Absolutely yes. Two years ago they paid me for the first time like my colleague, before that would have been unthinkable. I have never personally fought for equality, but I am very grateful to the women who have done it and continue to do so ».

“Never stay more than four months a year away from home. And even if I am on a set abroad for work, I try to see the guys every weekend ».
At home, on the other hand, do you have a place of your own that no one can enter?
“I have a special room that I call ‘my studio’. I lock myself in and when I’m there everyone knows it’s like I don’t exist. I enter my cave, it is the place where I learn and where I prepare myself ».
Do you believe in God?
“Not in the sense of a single creator: I believe in the invisible. My faith is more a philosophical reflection on the spirit of nature and on the umbilical cord that bound us to her and which we have cut ».
Will your children change the world?
«I am optimistic: I think so, even if there are those who say it is too late. I try to do my best. We live in the countryside, an hour north of Paris, and every day I teach my kids to get involved in the beauty of nature, to respect it and protect it. Whatever happens, they will be adults different from how we have been ».
