Several famous people gathered last Thursday night (12) to attend the premiere of “O Auto da Compadecida 2” in Rio de Janeiro.
The film, which arrives in Brazilian cinemas in December 25th celebrates the return of João Grilo (Matheus Nachtergaele) to the mythical city of Taperóa, in Paraíba, after two decades, and his reunion with Chico (Selton Mello), his best friend.
Names like Taís Araújo, Fabíula Nascimento, Humberto Martins and Enrique Diaz, who also star in the film written by João Falcão and directed by Guel Arraes, were also present at the event. See photos in the gallery above .
What to expect from “O Auto da Compadecida 2”?
After the story of her resurrection, which involved a trial in purgatory, with her own as defender Our Lady João Grilo will be received by the people with great celebration – almost as if he were a celebrity.
