The actress Shannen Doherty Brenda Walsh from “Blocked at the Ball” died last Saturday (13), at the age of 53. The information was confirmed by the artist’s press office to People magazine, this Sunday (14).
The star, who has been battling breast cancer since 2015, received tributes from her famous friends.
Responsible for interpreting Brandon Walsh twin brother of his character in the series, Jason Priestley said goodbye via social media. “Shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of my friend Shannen. She was a force of nature and I will miss her. Sending love and light to her family in this dark time,” he wrote.

Already Gabrielle Carteris Andrea from “Beverly Hills, 90210”, said goodbye in a text in which she mentioned Luke Perry Dylan from the series, who died in 2019. “So young… And so sad. May you rest in peace. I know Luke is up there with open arms to welcome you.”
Rose McGowan who was in the same cast as Shannen Doherty, in “Charmed”, Shannen also said goodbye with a text. “She had the heart of a lion. Passion for art is often mistaken for a problematic attitude. And Shannen was pure passion. I met her in the 1990s and was impressed. This woman fought to live. And she knew she was a star, because she had been one since childhood,” she began.
“Your work ethic inspired us to the end. Our lives intertwined in a curious way, and we laughed at the dark forces that wanted us to hate each other; instead, we chose love and respect. May the angels and God carry you to the holy realm where you will be healthy, young and crazy forever. Rest in peace, warrior, I will never forget you,” she concluded.
