Celebrity Hunted 3: «The chaos from which we escape»

Take your backpack and run away: this is the mission that the competitors of Celebrity Hunted – Manhunt try to complete for the duration of the hunt. The objective of the Prime Video reality thriller produced by Endemol Shine Italy is twofold: to escape from the grip of hunters who are on the trail of the protagonist couples and still find a way to enjoy the experience in a light-hearted way, focusing, yes, on not getting take, but also on having fun as much as I can. One principle they seem to have kept in mind is the couple formed by Luca Argentero and Cristina Marinowhich they jokingly termed Celebrity Hunted the honeymoon they never made, than the one formed by Irama and Rkomi, who between one chase and another have also found the time to train by showing us that wanting is power. When we ask them whether they have more or less chased opportunities in life, the answer digs into introspection. “We looked for them,” confess Irama and Rkomi.

“We both have a troubled history and this has given us the strength to never stop searching,” adds Irama. “Things don’t fall from the sky. I strongly believe that if there is something you like or are passionate about, you have to make it happen.” is the answer of Cristina Marino, while her husband Luca Argentero, true revelation of this edition of Celebrity Hunted, admits that, in his case, fate played a crucial role. “Many things have rained down on me from heaven, like a blessed hand that has always accompanied me. I’ve been very lucky in my career and I have no problem saying it.” Beyond what is seen in the episodes – i the first three are available on Prime Video from November 17 and the last three from November 24 -, what do our protagonists run away from in everyday life? «I don’t run away from anything, the more difficult things are, the more I let myself be found», thunders Rkomi.

«From the chaos», Cristina and Luca answer together. «We live an extremely exposed life, walking down the street surrounded by many people who express their affection. This is why, when we have the opportunity, we run away, we take refuge in our beloved countryside where we have a completely different life», Argentero points out. Travel like Celebrity Hunted they inevitably bring with them a certain degree of awareness in those who face them. But where are couples with self-knowledge? «Discovering yourself fully is also a bit boring, isn’t it? I hope I never find out», replies Irama. “I have no memory of a more fulfilling and happier moment than this. I think of our daughter, to the next creature that arrives. I don’t know if there is anything more than that. It’s the best one could wish for.” Argentero explains tenderly. “Life has given me a beautiful gift, which is pregnancy. I’m extremely fulfilled, but there are still things I can do better than that.” Finally, one last reflection on the unknown: does it scare or intrigue? “I’m constantly looking for things I don’t know: I need to surround myself with people who are better than me,” says Cristina. We are people who think little and do a lot. We are more inclined towards action», is Luca’s reply. While Rkomi and Irama have no problem recognizing the fascination of the unknown on a personal level and the fear it arouses, instead, on the physical one.
