Sholpankulov said that now there is no system for tracking cryptocurrency transactions, however, a new approach to this problem has already been developed: control over the circulation of digital assets will be tightened and administrative and even criminal sentences for the illegal withdrawal of funds have been introduced.
“Today, the volume of crypto-actors withdrawn from the country is $ 15 billion. The fact is that administrative-legal regulation was not built enough so that citizens could calmly invest,” emphasized the deputy chairman of the NB of Kazakhstan.
Sholpankulov also noted that after the introduction of a new regulation, the department can collect a new briefing at which they will “sofamilly” announced who and where to withdraw funds with cryptocurrencies. At the moment, however, there is no such system in Kazakhstan yet.
Earlier it was reported that officially licensed cryptocurrency exchange points will appear in Kazakhstan.
