The Central Bank (BC) announced, this Wednesday (4), that it will again suspend the dissemination of analyzes and economic indicators due to the strike of the entity’s servers.
According to the BC, the new dates for the disclosures will be informed to the press 24 hours in advance. During the first stoppage, the indicators that include the Focus bulletin, the Savings Report and the IBC-Br were affected and had to have their disclosures postponed.
Employees of the monetary entity, who are in their fourth year without salary readjustment, ask for the replacement of inflation for the period. They started the strike at the beginning of April, but came to suspend the act at the end of the month for negotiations.
However, on May 2, servers went on strike again after not reaching an agreement, which led the Central Bank to announce a new suspension of publications.
The BC said that the act will not affect the disclosure of interest rates this Wednesday, and that the statement will be published normally at 6:30 pm.
