Central European Common Declaration: Immigration is not a demographic solution

THE immigration is not a solution to demographic problem, according to a joint declaration of the leaders of the countries of Central Europe signed today (23/9).

According to the APE-BPE, the leaders of Central European countries today signed a joint declaration stating that migration should not be the answer to the demographic challenges facing the European Union, while calling on the EU to maintain family policy under national jurisdiction.

“Each Member State must formulate its own family policy in accordance with its own Constitution, traditions and customs. “Family policy is and must remain a national responsibility,” the statement said, signed by the prime ministers of Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and the president of Serbia.
