The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has announced that CES, which had to be held exclusively online this year, will return to a more familiar format next year. “The World’s Most Influential Technology Event” is slated to take place in Las Vegas from January 5-8. As usual, before the opening of the exhibition, there will be “press days” for visitors, scheduled for January 3 and 4.
According to the organizers, Amazon, AMD, AT&T, Daimler AG, Dell, Google, Hyundai, IBM, Intel, Lenovo, LG Electronics, Panasonic, Qualcomm, Samsung Electronics and Sony have already agreed to take part in the event.

“We are thrilled to be back in Las Vegas, where CES has been for over 40 years, and look forward to meeting many new and familiar faces,” said Gary Shapiro, President and CEO of CTA. “Hundreds of executives have told us how much they need CES to meet new and existing customers, find partners, reach out to the media, and discover innovation.”
Of course, a digital format is also planned, addressed to a wide audience, which will be able to get acquainted with exhibitors, keynote speeches and announcements of new products.
With all the optimism, the CTA makes the reservation that it will monitor the epidemiological situation, adhere to safety measures and follow federal, state and local laws in order to adjust plans for the CES if necessary.
