Cesare Cremonini and Elisa publish their duets

Even those who weren’t there will hear. Cesare Cremonini and Elise they posted theirs duets live of poetic and the medley Anna and I with Fragile tootaken from the performances during the last concert in the Cremonini buildings on 17 November at Mediolanum Forum in Milan.

Elisa was the special guest on the last date of the tour Cremonini, in a sort of consecration of their friendship. The Bolognese singer-songwriter, after the duet, tenderly recalled their bond with a photo that portrays them together in 2000, just twenty years old: «Elise and I, very young, year 2000, in the backstage of a concert at the Udine stadium. I remember every word between us. And then here, now, on a poetic night of our time».

Duets are now available on all digital platforms via Virgin Records/ Universal Music Italia, gave the audience the thrill of seeing together two great artists of the Italian music scene interpreting some of their most famous pieces. Elisa and Cesare Cremonini performed as a duet poeticsingle by the Bolognese singer-songwriter included in the album Possible Scenarios from 2017, and an acoustic medley of the songs Anna and Iby Cremonini, e Fragile tootaken from the album Open diaries of Elise.

«What happened on stage between Elisa and me was unforgettable, magical from the first moment. We allowed each other, trusting each other, to use the songs as scenery for our performance, with the sole purpose of doing each other good» – says Cesare Cremonini. «Moments of extreme artistic freedom and purity were born, a rarity that we have decided to stop in time with this “instant record”. Elisa is a great artist and I am honored to have experienced all her talent up close, in an embrace”.

Elisa’s story of the moment she received the invitation to participate in Cremonini’s tour is a touching memory: «The moment Cesare sent me the first message to invite me to sing with him in the last concert of his tour, I literally had the phone in my hand to search online for the dates of his show that I absolutely wanted to see, because Cesare he is an artist that I love and that I find brilliant, both for his writing and for what he can express on stage» – said the singer – «It was an absurd coincidence and from there a very strong creative flow opened up; in planning and imagining the performance we were going to do, we discovered a great artistic and human harmony».
