A 63-year-old fan is fighting for his life Manchester City after being attacked by her fans Club Bruges, after the latter’s 5-1 defeat at Jan Breydel Stadium. The 63-year-old Belgian, who, according to a Daily Mail article, is a member of a group of City fans called “Blue Moon Belgium” was attacked while returning home after match of the 3rd match day of the Champions League groups.
According to the 83-year-old son, his father, known as Gildo, went to get his scarf which was snatched from his neck and received a heavy blow to the head. The unfortunate man was taken to hospital, where hospitalized in a coma and fights for his life.
“We hope that those responsible will be found and punished. We have traveled all over Europe and have never been attacked. “We are coming to Belgium for the first time and my father is fighting for his life,” wrote Jürgen, who is one of the leaders of Blue Moon Belgium.
Jürgen described that his father was waiting for two of his friends when he was attacked by Club Brugge fans and after being beaten, they left him unconscious.
