Chanel, the value of craftsmanship parades in Florence

From Paris to Florence. And immediately after, in all boutique of the brand. Chanel gives an appointment to its loyal and faithful admirers in the heart of Italian culture, history and tradition – the Tuscan capital – for a parade, the one dedicated to Métiers d’Artor garments embellished with workmanship, fabrics and details resulting from the precious skill of expert craftsmen, which a few hours later can be found already on sale and available to be worn immediately.

To welcome the guests – more than a thousand – a long black ribbon, which accompanies us in the first room, in which three animated videos by REMEMBERS studio introduce the rooms where the actual show will take place: from the color of the animated film to absolute white, animated only huge camellias, equally white, placed here and there to dot the space.

In the front row some of the most iconic ambassadors of the Parisian brand: da Penélope Cruzaccompanied by her eleven year old son, a Caroline de Maigretfrom the French pop star Angèle to the director Sofia Coppolabut also some of the most talented and promising young Italian actresses: Coco Rebecca Edogamhe, Linda Caridi, Fotini Peluso, Alma Noce and Caterina De Angelis.

On the catwalk, the replica of the collection, actually already unveiled last December in Paris in the brand new spaces of the Maison, le19Mdedicated to art professions, their enhancement and protection: all the most authentic and pure DNA of the Maison, now lovingly preserved by the creative director Virginie Viard, is paraded in a series of garments that already from today, 8 June, are available in Italian boutiques (and from 9 in those around the world).

The parade ends, but the evening – to the delight of the guests, happy to finally be able to return to have fun all together, in a sort of collective beauty ritual – certainly does not end here.
