Employees of the Russian representative office of Changan yesterday, July 23, officially presented the prices and configurations of their new flagship urban crossover Uni-K, which will conquer the Russian market for the foreseeable future. It is worth noting that unofficially the car was already offered by third-party dealers who sold the vehicle in the gray market format, and the prices in this case were almost twice as high. For example, a manufacturer plans to sell a car in the Comfort configuration for 3,219,000 rubles, while third-party dealers asked for five million for this configuration. It is logical that now Changan Uni-K will be much more in demand among buyers – at a middle-class price, it offers flagship features.
Already in the Changan configuration, the buyer will receive a remote start of the car’s engine and a smart key with various remote control functions. It will be possible to start the car from the apartment and it will warm up in winter even before the driver reaches the door. Also, the car is fully equipped with diode optics – even fog lights. There is also a full-fledged panoramic roof with a sunroof, and the tailgate has a memory of the required lifting height, plus the door handles hide in the door automatically when locked – Range Rover has a similar set of bonuses, which costs from 38 million rubles.
The interior of the crossover also has something to see – there is an air ionization function, a heated double-layer windshield, an electronic parking brake and an integrated DVR. Of course, the basic standard driving assistants are also there – a rollover protection system, a parking assistant with a display of the distance to the object, an all-round camera and a quick search function for a car in the parking lot. There is also a multimedia system with a 12-inch display that can be synchronized with a smartphone, and a full-fledged voice control system. That is, for only 3.2 million rubles in the basic configuration, the set of functions is already impressive.
There is also a Luxe package, which features all-wheel drive and adaptive cruise control. Additionally, there are Sony speakers and a 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster (the base model has only 3.5 inches). It is worth noting that this equipment costs only 3,369,000 rubles – 150 thousand more than the base one. The Tech variant completes the list with dynamic LED turn signals, front seat ventilation, touch control of the tailgate and automatic high beam control. Also in the cabin there is a backlight for 64 colors (it’s a pity that it’s not RGB) and many additional security systems.
The Tech package costs 3,479,900 rubles – cheaper than the basic equipment from “gray” dealers. True, right now it will no longer be possible to buy a car from third-party sellers – they simply do not exist.
