The founder and former CEO of the Binance cryptocurrency exchange, Changpeng Zhao, abandoned the idea of returning to the position of CEO of the company.
No wish to be CEO again. But definitely wouldn’t mind a pardon.

CZ responded to a proposal from Telos X exchange co-founder John Lilich, who said that newly elected US President Donald Trump should consider pardoning Changpeng Zhao and allowing him to return to being CEO of Binance.
CZ also noted that he definitely “would not be against a pardon.”
Changpeng Zhao served four months in prison on charges of violating AML rules. On September 27, 2024, CZ was released and made his first statement. Then he mentioned his new project – Giggle Academy and noted that it was developing successfully and would occupy an important place in his life in the next few years.
Zhao added that he intends to invest in DeFi, AI and biotech, and his book is two-thirds complete.
Bloomberg previously reported that Donald Trump’s election victory increased CZ’s estimated net worth by $12.1 billion.
