The co-founder, main owner and former CEO of the world’s largest crypto exchange Binance published his first post on his social network page X after leaving prison. In it, the businessman thanked his supporters for their support and told him what he plans to do.

Changpeng Zhao said he plans to finish a book on cryptocurrencies, two-thirds written while incarcerated in the Lompoc Federal Penitentiary in California:

“Food tastes better in freedom, and it’s happiness to eat more than one fruit a day. I know some of you may have a lot of questions. I won’t have all the answers. Let me calm down a little. And then I’ll tell you about my next steps.”

The businessman said that he intends to pay attention to the educational platform Giggle Academylaunched in March, projects in the field of decentralized finance, artificial intelligence (AI) and biotechnology in which it plans to invest.

According to the former CEO Binancethe exchange is developing well without his participation, which is a dream for every founder. Zhao promised to speak at conferences dedicated to the crypto industry.

Earlier, Binance CEO Richard Teng confirmed that Zhao was permanently barred from managing the business and would not be able to hold important positions on the exchange.
