Chaos in Cyprus – Incidents, street fights and vandalism during a protest march on immigration – At least five injured

The hooded men, it is noted, they caused damage to at least two shops allegedly owned by foreigners, while they also destroyed hotel windows and set fire to bins to set up barricades and it is shown that they burned at least two vehicles in their path, while throwing Molotov cocktails and using flares.

Anti-immigrant slogans

As in the recent similar protest march for immigration in Paphos, before the incidents began, the participants in the march shouted slogans against the immigrants, but also against the actions of the Cypriot government. Today (2/9), in Limassol, a new march against racism is planned.
