The lawyers of the ticket led by former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) announced this Saturday (6) the registration of the PT candidate with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) for the presidential election in October.
The registration request was presented by PT president, Gleisi Hoffmann, and by Aragão e Ferraro Advogados and Zanin Martins Advogados.
The candidacy will have the former governor of São Paulo Geraldo Alckmin (PSB) as vice. The parties that make up the plate are PT, PV, PCdoB, PSOL/REDE, PSB, Solidarity, Avante and Agir.
In addition to Lula, four other candidates have already applied for registration for the presidential elections: Felipe d’Avila (Novo), Leonardo Péricles (UP), Sofia Manzano (PCB) and Pablo Marçal (Pros).
With the end of the convention period, last Friday (5), parties and coalitions will have until August 15 to register their respective candidates with the TSE.
Debate
the broadcasters CNN and SBT, the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo, the magazine Veja, the portal Terra and the radio NovaBrasilFM formed a pool to hold the debate between the candidates for the Presidency of the Republic, which will take place on September 24th.
The debate will be broadcast live on CNN on TV and through our digital platforms.
