Monday 8th November Charlène Wittstock has finally returned home. After months in South Africa, due to a health problem, the prince’s wife Alberto she returned to Munich. The photos in which she embraces her husband and children, the 6-year-old twins Jacques and Gabriella, in the courtyard of Palazzo Grimaldi in Monte Carlo, they traveled around the world. And now everyone is wondering: when we see the princess in public again?
According to some rumors, the princess’s first official trip to court is already being planned. In fact, next 13 November a visit by Prince Albert to the Dubai Expo is planned. And to accompany it there should be its own Charlene. Grace Kelly’s son already anticipated this possibility last week. Talking with People, however, had specified: “We will make the decision at the last moment“. Any actual travel would represent the the couple’s first public appearance in over ten months.
Charlene left for South Africa last March for a series of commitments related to humanitarian and animal welfare causes. But he contracted a serious one infection otorhinolaryngoiatrics who blocked her in her homeland forcing her to a series of surgeries. In these ten months she managed to hug her husband and children again only last August, when Alberto joined her in South Africa with the children. Nonetheless, and despite the mutual public declarations of love from those directly involved, the gossip for ten months has not stopped speculating that the royal couple was one step away from divorce.
But now Charléne is back in Monaco. And maybe on Saturday she will fly to Dubai with her husband. Then many important appointments await you, first of all the National Day of the Principality which is celebrated on November 19th. A date that usually brings together the Grimaldis almost in full even if in 2020, due to Covid, it took place in a discreet and less pompous atmosphere than usual. This year, however, with Charléne returning home, finally in shape after so many months of fear for her health, the celebrations will have an even more special flavor.
Another important date will arrive for the princess in December: the 10th, the twins Jacques and Gabriella will turn 7 years old. After so many months away from her children, Charléne will rediscover the joy of family celebrations for the first time. Last year Alberto and his wife had organized a children’s club home party with colorful balloons, sweets and candles. We don’t know how they intend to surprise them this year, but one thing is certain: the best gift, for the twins, is finally get mom Charlene back.
