King Charles III paid a simple tribute at the funeral of his mother, Elizabeth II, this Monday (19). A card placed on top of the queen’s coffin, next to the flowers, reads: “In loving and dedicated memory. Charles R.”
Today is the day the British nation bids its final farewell to the monarch with the longest reign in the country’s history.

Queen’s Coffin Takes to Westminster Abbey
At around 06:40 GMT, the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II was removed from the catafalque in Westminster Hall, in the British Parliament.
In procession, the coffin was taken to Westminster Abbey, where the funeral service will take place. The walk is approximately eight minutes.
Charles III and Elizabeth II’s other children – Princess Anne and Princes Andrew and Edward – walk accompanied by Princes Harry and William.
At 4:00 pm Brasília time, the Appointment Service begins at Capela de São Jorge, at Windsor Castle. During the Night, the Queen will be buried along with the Duke of Edinburgh in a private ceremony at the King George VI Memorial Chapel.
