This debate will continue, in the context of the EU “Strategic Compass”, until the European Council of March 2022, where European defense will be one of the main topics.
“We also have in front of us the preparation and adoption of a new declaration of strategic partnership between the European Union and NATO,” he added, while later in 2022, at the NATO Summit in Spain, the North Atlantic Alliance will talk about the new strategic doctrine.
