Charlotte of Wales: from ballet to gymnastics, the new photo of the princess

A new photo of Charlotte of Wales, spread by Kate Middleton And William of England to thank all those who, on the occasion of theeighth birthday of the little girl, on Tuesday 2 May, they had a thought for her.

The shot, published on the official Kensington Palace accounts, was taken by Millie Pilkingtonthe same photographer behind the lens of the last official portrait of the little one Louis, released on April 23 on his fifth birthday; and the context tells us that they were taken together during a day in the countryside.

Charlotte is portrayed in a moment of play, close to Orla, the family cocker spaniel. Like Lupo, the first puppy of the house, who disappeared in 2020, Orla also comes from the breeding of James MiddletonKate’s younger brother, and is the perfect playmate for the little princes.

May 2 was a school day for Charlotte. The little girl attends Lambrook School, in Windsor, where her older brother also studies George, 10 years old next July, and Louis. Her birthday present this year arrived early: on Saturday 29 April, in fact, her mother accompanied her and a group of her peers to the London Opera House to attend the musical Cinderella, a collaboration between the Royal Ballet and the National Ballet of Canada. The images of the little girl, on stage with her companions at the end of the show, went around the web. It is not known who the author of the video is, it is certain that Charlotte seems to have had a lot of fun.

The girl, moreover, loves dance, and has been taking lessons since she was very small. A passion shared with the queen consort Camilla, who since she no longer goes out on horseback (“I’m too old”, she said recently) has found in dancing a new way to keep fit. Charlotte, however, also has other passions. Sport above all, as told by mother Kate at the end of April during an official visit to Scotland. She «she’s really into gymnastics, she does cartwheels, handstands, everything. She is great for balance and motor coordination ».

Who knows if Lottie, as she is affectionately nicknamed, has the makings of an athlete. She wouldn’t be the first in the family.
