The actor Chay Suede 32, used social media this Monday (8) to answer random questions from followers and ended up asking joke about the origin of one’s own name . This is because an internet user wanted to know if Chay was inspired by a well-known character from the small screen.
“Is the name Chay inspired by Chayene from ‘Cheias de encanto’?”, asked the follower.
The actor, who was born in 1992, joined in the joke when commenting on the soap opera, which aired in 2012 and was re-aired again in March of this year.
“You know what, girl? Back in 2012, when I was born, my mother really liked this soap opera and said: ‘Ah, I’m going to put it on’”, declared the actor, who will be one of the protagonists of “You Mania” — next 9pm soap opera on TV Globo.
The actor has already revealed, however, the true inspiration for choosing his name. In an interview with the program “Conversa com Bial”, in 2018, Chay revealed that his grandfather “created a dialect that only he understood and translated words and some names into this dialect”.
“One of the things he translated was his own name, which is Salustiano de Paula Rocha and he translated it to Saylufet Ainobert Dimes Paylufet Roobertchay. Rocha is the Roobertchay, which is my name, my father’s name”, he said.
