As it became known, Samsung is going to release a cheaper version of the Galaxy S21 smartphone, which will not support fifth generation mobile networks.
Recall that all three models of the new line (Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra), which were presented last week, support fifth generation networks (mmWave or less than 6 GHz depending on the region). Now, the nonprofit Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) has confirmed that a more affordable 4G model should be on the market soon.

The Bluetooth Special Interest Group’s database lists two Galaxy S21 4G models (SM-G990F and SM-G990F_DS) for markets where 5G infrastructure has yet to be built.
It is not yet known when and where Samsung will release 4G versions of the Samsung Galaxy S21 and which models will be included in the more affordable lineup.
