Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, loyal to Putin, says he is in Ukraine – “You are done”

Ramzan Kadyrov, who rules Chechnya with an iron fist, is considered a staunch supporter of the Kremlin and has a paramilitary force under his command known as “Kadyrov”.

Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, images of a square in Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, full of soldiers saying they were leaving for Ukraine were posted on social media.
