Directed and produced by Tim Burton, “Wandinha” arrived this Wednesday (23) on Netflix. The series places a family already known by the viewer, the Addams, in a new context, with the daughter of Morticia and Gomez as the protagonist.

The production has eight episodes and follows Wandinha’s trajectory at school Nunca Mais.

After being expelled from the last school, she starts to attend the same school that her parents studied, a place for the “excluded”, people with supernatural gifts, such as vampires, mermaids, werewolves and other types of “human beings”.

In her first days at school, Wandinha finds herself involved in a great mystery. Throughout the season, secrets are revealed and the Addams’ eldest seeks to unravel what is happening in the city and at her school, while dealing with new relationships.

The production brings a teenage plot with many mysteries and humor – characteristic of the character.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the main aggregator of film and television reviews, the series has a 70% approval rating from expert critics.
