The final episodes of season 3 of “Bridgerton” have been available on Netflix since last Thursday (13) and many fans took advantage of the weekend to binge-watch the hit series.
Based on a series of books, the adaptation tells the story of eight brothers who search for love and happiness in high society in 19th century London. In addition to the production, other romance series are available to please the tastes of those who fell in love with the “Bridgerton” stories.
One example is “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story”, a spin-off of the series that tells the events before “Bridgerton” and introduces the love story between Queen Charlotte and King George.

“Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story”
Nothing better than continuing in the “Bridgerton” universe and continuing to see some beloved characters from the series in a spin-off. In this production, which has only six episodes, the romance is still very present, featuring the first meeting, the wedding and the relationship between Queen Charlotte and her husband, King George.

“Reign”
Another period series that is full of romance is “Reign”, launched in 2013 and had its final episode shown in 2017. Its narrative describes the story of Mary Stuart of Scotland and her path to power, starting with her arrival in France at the age of 15 and her engagement to Prince Francis.

“Virgin River”
A more current romance that wins hearts is Netflix’s “Virgin River”. In this plot, a nurse moves from Los Angeles to a small town in Northern California in search of a fresh start, but her new life will be very different from what she imagines. A teenage romance that also has everything to win over “Bridgerton” fans is “The Summer That Changed My Life”. In addition to being based on books, the production revolves around a girl who is caught in a love triangle between two brothers and she ends up dealing with her first love and her first heartbreak during the perfect summer.
“The Buccaneers”
“The Buccaneers” or “The Buccaneers” in Portuguese, is a series based on an unfinished novel by Edith Wharton, which was published posthumously in 1938. Launched in 2023 by Apple TV+, the plot tells the story of a group of young heiresses, who are forever transformed when they are taken across the Atlantic to London.
