THE Universal Resorts Orlando released, this Thursday (22), details of the Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel a 500-room resort in the Epic Universe theme park, which will be opened in 2025 .
On the property, guests will find dining options, a rooftop bar and an exclusive hotel entrance to the new Epic Universe theme park.
The décor is inspired by the fantasy world of the palace of Helios, the Greek god of the sun. The architecture is adorned with celestial patterns, constellations and relaxed design elements. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Celestial Park and Epic Universe.
The idea is to make guests experience the park from the entrance to the resort. There are also colorful and themed children’s suites, with stories from the animation “How to Train Your Dragon”, inspired by the Viking village of Berk.
Guests will also find it easy to get to Universal Epic Universe from the hotel entrance, where there is a dedicated exit in the lobby which will offer direct access to the site. It is important to note that the park entrance must be purchased separately.
Universal Helios Grand Hotel also promises to offer great food. It will feature the Flora Taverna restaurant, which will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and a bar; the Aurora Market café, which will offer freshly roasted coffees, snacks and grab-and-go options; and the Lotus Lagoon, which will serve poolside snacks, sandwiches and cocktails.
Other perks of staying at the resort include the Helios Bar, a rooftop lounge offering a menu of tapas, main courses, cocktails and 360-degree views of Epic Universe; and a massive pool with underwater speakers, poolside cabanas available for rent, a hot tub, movies and recreational activities. The hotel will also have a fitness center and game room.
Guests staying at any of the Universal Orlando hotels already receive the Early Park Admission for theme parks, which will be expanded to Universal Epic Universe. This means that you can enter the parks up to one hour before they open to the general public. You can also use the bus transportation for free.
