The American magazine Rolling Stone released, this Friday (10), the list of the best albums of the 21st century. For the selection, the vehicle chose 250 albums that stood out in the last 25 years.
“Lemonade”, released by Beyoncé in 2016, won first position. Among the reasons for the choice, the editorial mentions that each of the pop star’s productions has evolved in some way since the release of her self-titled fifth album in 2013, however, “Lemonade”, from 2016, surpasses them all.
In addition to her, who has four albums on the list, the singer Taylor Swift also stood out, with four albums selected, one of which was in the Top 5.
In December, Beyoncé had already been named the biggest pop star of the century by Billboard. Taylor, on the other hand, was elected artist of the century in the charts (an expression used for music charts).
