The Emmy Awards, an award that celebrates the main television productions, released the official list of nominees for the 2022 awards this Tuesday (12).
Among the top nominees are “Succession” (25 nominations), “Ted Lasso” (20 nominations) and “The White Lotus” (20 nominations). Another highlight was the nomination of Zendaya for Euphoria – the actress won the category in 2020 for the first season of the same production.
“Stranger Things,” which stole the spotlight in recent months, earned a nomination for “Best Drama Series,” but failed to garner any for its performances.
Only programs that premiered between June 2022 and May 2022 were able to participate, and the awards take place on September 12.
