The group’s first album was “Definitely Maybe”, released on August 29, 1994. In addition to entering the charts at number 1, it sold over seven million copies. That same year, they began performing in larger venues.

His second album, “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” was released a year later, in October 1995. Upon its release, the album reached number one in England, becoming the fastest-selling album in the UK since Michael Jackson’s “Bad”.

The band continued to break records over the following years. By 1996, their second album had become the second biggest-selling British album in history. On the strength of the iconic single “Wonderwall” “Morning Glory” also became a Top 10 hit in America, where it achieved quintuple platinum status.

Although the band’s first two LPs were recorded quickly, it took them several months to record the third, which was finally completed in the spring of 1997. The album “Be Here Now” was released in late August, and was met with rave reviews and robust sales.

In early 2000, they released their fourth album, “Standing on the Shoulder of Giants” which presented a more psychedelic sound with electronic elements. In the same year, the band celebrated the success of the world tour with their first live album, “Familiar to Millions” which highlights Oasis’s show at Wembley Stadium in London.

“Heathen Chemistry” Oasis’ fifth studio album, was released in 2002 and abandons the psychedelic experimentation of their previous album and adopts a more rock ‘n’ roll tone.

Oasis’ next album has been delayed, “Don’t Believe The Truth” being released worldwide in May 2005. Featuring songwriting contributions from all band members, the album represented a new approach for the previously Noel-dominated group.

In October 2008, the band’s last album, “Dig Out Your Soul” was released a year before the group ended.
