This Tuesday (16), Netflix released the trailer for “The Astronaut”, the new film starring Adam Sandler (“Pretend Wife”). In the film, the actor plays Jakub, an astronaut who has been on solitary research at the edge of the solar system for six months and realizes that the marriage he left behind may not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth.
Desperate to make things right with his wife, Lenka (Carey Mulligan), he is helped by a mysterious creature from the dawn of time that he finds hiding on his ship. Hanuš (voiced by Paul Dano) works with Jakub to understand what went wrong before it's too late.

Directed by Swedish filmmaker Johan Renck, the film is based on the novel “Spaceman of Bohemia” and also has the following artists in the cast: Kunal Nayyar (“The Big Bang Theory”), Lena Olin (“The Last Portal”) and Isabella Rossellini (“Blue Velvet”).
“The Astronaut” arrives on Netflix on March 1st.
