In September 2024, the artist confirmed that her next studio album will be released in February. “My studio album will be released in February and my first single will be released very soon, so I’m excited about that too,” she said in an interview with Reuters.

In November, she also gave details of what fans can expect from the album, citing that it will have a dark-pop sound.
