Chef do La Peruana opens a house focused on fish and seafood in Pinheiros

Hardly a true connoisseur of Peruvian food, ceviche or good gastronomy do not know the name La Peruvian restaurant that, 10 years ago, delights in the gardens with its authentic dishes of the Andean cuisine under the command of Peruvian Marisabel Woodman .

Chef with plenty of talent, a welcoming smile and who quickly knew how to conquer the Paulistanos with the typical and authentic dishes of his country, now she opens the Seas de la Peruana with a menu that brings more creative freedom and that, as the name suggests, focuses fish and seafood.

Located in the disputed Rua Ferreira de Araújo in Pinheiros, the exclusive creations of Marisabel – inspired by the different traditions and culinary cultures around the world – prove that There are no immutable recipes . From Josper, coal Spanish oven that bakes, grill and smoking, the shrimps come out on the ember (R $ 149), which could be “just” another grilled shrimp as we see in so many other places, but it brings its touch with Sriracha and Chimichurri sauce, peak Green Gallo, Avocado and Crocante Shrimp; Like the grilled squid, which arrives with tomato water and basil oil (R $ 53), or okra in MISSO, which gets in its sauce a special touch with Dukkah, a spice and nuts (R $ 45).

What delights most in the dishes of the house is precisely to find known inputs, in readings that escape the obvious, but do not escape the taste and beautiful execution. The vieiras gain parmesan foam, pangrattate and parsley oil (R $ 95); Aguachile arrives with shrimp and fishing of the day in the citrus sauce of cucumber, lemon, pepper, coriander, thin onion slices, jalapeño and avocano (R $ 80); And as the main, the Fish with La Brasa (R $ 173), whole grilled, can be served in two versions: with citrus butter, herbs and almonds or in Ají Amarillo sauce, coriander and pepper. Mollusks rice (R $ 99) is elaborated with seafood, such as Sarnambi, Vôngoles and Lambretas, and finished with purple corn, Avocado and Chalaca, Peruvian Salad made with purple onion, pepper, coriander and lemon. Already the octopus in the grill (R $ 153) comes with sauce Ranca de Panca, baked potatoes and wild arugula salad.

From the firstborn house, only two dishes appear on the menu of Mares de la Peruana. The classic ceviche, prepared with the fishing of the day marinated in lemon, coriander, pepper, purple onion and tiger leche (R $ 76), and the irresistible dessert three leches, which combines meringue, strawberry and ice cream (R $ 47). Lucky for ours, the chef knows that these two items are unenforceable among her lovers.

It is worth mentioning that the environment is beautiful, with materials that refer to the beach, such as the use of straw, a lot of natural light and tissues brought directly from Peru to decorate the space. Of those places that are worth going with a good class, order the drinks signed by Jean Ponce from the renowned guardhouse bar, which highlight the pisco, typical turkey drink, such as Miraflores (R $ 45), which combines seasoned pisco, lillet, thin jerez and white red blend, garnished by a piece of padano with ají amarillo tiger leche drops; or the 7 seas (R $ 45), which combines parsley infusion, pineapple juice, lemon, holy grass essence and a coriander pineapple foam, to literally mark the menu.

Lucky for ours for having Marisabel’s hands, creativity and courage to undertake outside her home country. Long life to Seas de la Peruana!
