What do Cozinha Tupis and Cora have in common? Both share the dream of bringing life back to the old center and to the places that once played an important role in building the habits and history of their cities: São Paulo and Belo Horizonte.

It is in this parallel that the union of Cozinha Tupis, a Grupo Viela restaurant – responsible for revitalizing the Mercado Novo and is composed of several undertakings around the city (Juramento 202, Cervejaria Viela, Forno da Saudade) – and the restaurant Cora, which occupies the top of the building retrofitted by Planta Inc, which enables the activation of underutilized properties in the central region of São Paulo.

From Cassava Bread with Crackling Butter, followed by the far from ordinary Rice with Egg, Henrique Gilberto’s dishes make reference to true institutions, cultural heritage of Belo Horizonte, as is the case of Frango do Zé Luis – a bar located in the basement of the market that works at dawn, for the stallholders and partygoers on duty – and the coffee with burnt milk with butter bread, representing the obligatory stop at the padoca, the morning after the festive night.

To sip along with the dishes, beers from Juramento 202 and signature drinks based on Brazilian distillates and botanicals, such as Brasilberg and Para-Tudo. An ode to the bohemian life of Belo Horizonte in the center of São Paulo.
