Chef uprooted his partner's heart and split it – He is the son of the “Bratislava strangler”

A 47-year-old chef is accused of hacking his waitress girlfriend to death before ripping out her heart and placing it next to her mutilated body. Police found the remains of 48-year-old Patricia in the apartment she shared with her boyfriend Josef Hanuska in the capital SlovakiaBratislava.

In the same room the officers found a bucket containing the organs the chef had removed from her body. According to the local media, cited by Daily Mailthe killer had also placed a British passport on a sheet he had thrown over the body found lying on a bed.

Terrified neighbors said the pair often fought, with one of them saying she often heard the attacker threatening to “rip her head off”.

Police were called on Wednesday last week after a relative received a message from the chef saying he was going to kill himself. He fled instead, but was arrested on Friday after officers found him hiding in a cellar.

On Saturday, he was charged with the woman's murder.

The chef describes himself by saying: “I have been working in the culinary field for over 20 years, so I dare say that cooking is not my job, but my life.”

According to the same publication, his father was executed for the murder of two women. Nicknamed the “Bratislava Strangler”, Stefan Puddle was arrested in 1979 after killing two women he had met at a party.
