The American singer Cher 78, used social media on Saturday (1st) to defend her boyfriend, the rapper Alexander Edwards 38, after he was involved in a fight with the singers Tyga 34, and Travis Scott 33, at the Cannes Film Festival, in France, on May 24th.
“I'm proud of Alexander. He didn't start the fight against two men… He ended it. I have to love him”, wrote the artist on X, formerly Twitter.
A video showing the moment of the confrontation (see below) is circulating on the internet. You can see the men pushing each other.
The confusion reportedly began after Tyga was mistaken for Scott by a DJ playing at a party at the event.
Travis Scott would have left, but the other two artists would have remained at the event until dawn.
Some international news sites pointed out that the pushing and shoving had been initiated by Scott, but a verified profile of Brazilian fans on X argues that he had tried to break up the confusion.
