Cher poses alongside Zendaya and Dua Lipa at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Zendaya, in turn, was responsible for paying homage to the artist’s career spanning more than seven decades. “Cher once said, ‘You should never be inhibited by what people expect you to do,’ and those are words I hope we can all learn to live by,” he quoted in an excerpt.

The star, when thanking him for the honor, mentioned that “The only thing I never did was give up. I never give up. And I’m talking to women. You guys are alone. We have been discouraged and we continue to strive, we continue to do, we continue to build and we are someone”, he mentioned in his speech.

In addition to her, singer Ozzy Osbourne and the bands Foreigner and Kool & The Gang were also included in the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Singer Liam Payne, who died four days ago, also received a posthumous honor at the ceremony.
