According to the newspaper The New York Post and police sources, Cheslie Kryst, Miss USA 2019, died this Sunday after jumping from the window of a 60-story building in New York.

Cheslie Kryst, a 30-year-old presenter and lawyer, jumped from the window of her Manhattan home around 7:15 a.m. local time and was found dead in the street. According to police reports, her death was instantaneous.
Cheslie left a note in which she wrote that she was giving all her property to her mother. In addition, shortly before her death, she posted a photo on her Instagram account with the phrase: “May this day bring you rest and peace.”

Cheslie won the Miss USA pageant in 2019 representing the state of North Carolina. In said contest she was always smiling, happy and encouraging the other contestants, an attitude that would prevail in recent years. Unfortunately, no one knew about her internal struggle, so her death has shocked more than one.
