Chevrolet has confirmed that in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Corvette series, special editions of the eighth generation Corvette sports car will be released. The 70th Anniversary Edition package is available for both the base Corvette Stingray and the Corvette Z06. Although the series turns 70 in 2023, exclusive editions will be released this year.
The anniversary cars will have special logos, black wheels with red rims, red brake calipers, two-tone interior trim with red stitching, and red seat belts. The cars will be available in White Pearl Metallic as well as Black Carbon Flash Metallic. It is worth noting that all Chevrolet Corvette, released in 1953, were white. For an additional fee, you can order longitudinal strips on the body.
Sales of the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition will begin this summer, the price has not yet been announced.
The manufacturer also confirmed that even the standard versions of the Corvette, released this year, will receive special anniversary badges in the cabin.
